Paso Robles, Friday Plein Air             Each Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Paso Robles now has it's own plein air group that meets every Friday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.,  including an informal critique.  If you are interested contact   Ron Robinson at .  The group decides about a week ahead of time where they will go for the next week.  An email announcement then goes out to the list of interested artists and includes directions on how to get to the selected painting site.

There are a number of days of the week painters gather to paint indoor and plein air in Central California and this is a partial list. All painting groups are open to the public.

The Watercolor Connection - Open Painting Group -     San Luis Obispo
This group meets Tuesday afternoons 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church,  2075 Johnson Avenue, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
Our group includes all skill levels from absolute beginners to advanced artists.  About 6-12 of us paint together indoors in a fun and encouraging environment.  We begin each session with critiques of paintings (completed or in progress) and announcements, then paint, sometimes with a mini lesson or subject focus, or often doing our own thing with extra help for beginners or anyone else requesting it.  Our group welcomes visitors and new members.
Directions:  Driving up Johnson (away from downtown), pass French Hospital on the right.  Continue on Johnson across the next intersection (Ella St), and turn right into the first driveway of the church parking lot.  Enter through the glass door at parking lot level.  We meet in a room down the hallway.
